Insidious wasn't bad Darth Maul in a ghost film ripping off Poltergeist blah blah blah, Insidious 2 I saw at the cinema with my nephew in an afternoon surrounded by teenagers on phones screaming even before anything happened, One of the worse afternoons and cinema experiences ever, I dodged going to see Insidious 3, Not because they were bad films but being a grumpy old fart I couldn't pay that much money and go through that again! Reading the reviews Insidious 3 sounds pretty promising, A prequel so it could be interesting I guess, only time will tell, watch this space for a review coming very soon,

Synopsis
The terrifying prequel that takes Insidious back to the
beginning…
When teenager Quinn Brenner (Stefanie Scott) senses that her
late mother is trying to contact her, she seeks help from gifted psychic Elise
Rainier (Lin Shaye). However, Elise's tragic past makes her reluctant to use
her abilities. After Quinn is attacked by a malevolent entity, her father
(Dermot Mulroney) pleads with Elise for help. With support from two
parapsychologists, Elise ventures deep into The Further -- where she finds a
powerful demon with an insatiable craving for human souls.
It’s rare for the third installment of any franchise to live
up to the standards of its predecessors, but with its creepy atmosphere, big
scares, and nightmarish demons, Insidious: Chapter 3 is a more than worthy
addition to the successful franchise. It’s little wonder: Leigh Whannell is the
creator of the hugely successful Saw and knows the genre’s terrifying ins and
outs perfectly. He’s not only one of horror’s most creative minds but also a
master of tension and timing. Leigh once again returns to the role of crackpot
ghost hunter, Specs; starring alongside an excellent cast that includes genre
veterans (Lin Shaye), current hot stars (Dermot Mulroney), and emerging talent
(Stefanie Scott). This is one prequel horror fans won’t want to miss!
This looks very scary. I hope its better than the first 2 movies.
