Hello Folks,
Jonny T here here with some great news that finally the 80's version of the classic Twilight Zone is getting a DVD released! Remastered and featuring a host of stars and classic episodes it's a definite must have for all fans of cult TV! I shall be bringing you my review very soon, All the details below,
Jonny T.

We are thrilled to announce the arrival of the truly breathtaking television series that redefined the fantasy/anthology genre with it's unprecedented scale of top-class talent involved and displays of true grandeur - The New Twilight Zone: The Complete Collection out on 13-disc DVD boxset April 29th 2013 through Shock Entertainment.

Featuring a spectacular hoard of talent previously unheard of in a single television series, including the likes of Bruce Willis, Helen Mirren, Morgan Freeman, Stephen King, George R.R. Martin, Joe Dante, Wes Craven and William Friedkin to name a few, ‘The New Twilight Zone’ wowed audiences at a time when television was an arid wasteland of cheesy, identikit soap operas and repetitious, uninspired action series, quickly establishing itself as an unmissable series! Even by today’s standards, the list of creative talent involved is simply astonishing.

Two decades after the demise of Rod Serling’s original, groundbreaking and multi-Emmy award-winning television series, audiences were once again transported into the fifth dimension, this time with an unprecedented roster of talent that significantly included some of the greatest sci-fi and fantasy writers of all time! Broadcast from 1985 to 1989, this new series not only captured the spirit and continued the legacy of the original it also took television drama to a whole new level, particularly with unforgettable episodes such as the shocking William Friedkin-directed “Nightcrawlers”, Wes Craven’s tear-jerker “Her Pilgrim Soul” and Joe Dante’s terrifying “The Shadow Man”, to name a few. A welcome revival for committed Zone aficionados, the series also attracted a whole new audience to what has become regarded as essential viewing for fans of sci-fi, fantasy and quality television drama.
